The Badge Office for Owners and Trainers is now housed in a marquee adjacent to Car Park 2 at the eastern end of The Lodge.
Preparatory works the first phase of the ‘heartspace’ redevelopment, due to begin on Monday 15 August and last around 52 weeks, are in the final stages of being completed.
The Premier Arch and Hospitality Pavilions will be out of use following the two-day August meeting on 13 & 14 August. A temporary facility for Owners & Trainers has been erected at the far end of the Lodge next to Car Park 2.
Owners and Trainers will then enter the course by walking through the large brown gates at the back of the Crafty Filly.
A temporary facility for the public which will include ticket collections and the ability to buy tickets on the day has been erected on Racecourse Road opposite the train station. This will mean customers enter between next to the Copper King Lawn.
The existing Grandstand and Centre of the Course entrances will continue to function once the first phase of work has begun.
